Senior Consultant, DHL Consulting

I am 28 years old and have been working at DHL Consulting since October 2015. As a consultant, I get to work with amazing people, I learn interesting things every day, and above all, I aim to create impact for the DPDHL group and its clients.

Be resourceful when gathering information, properly analyze it, create a compelling story, sell your ideas to the project manager and partner, deliver a structured presentation and ultimately transmit the confidence to our clients to act, based on your recommendation.

I believe that aside from the learning that comes from dealing with different topics, most of the learning comes from my co-workers and my clients. I love working with different teams and having the chance to adopt a little bit from the many personalities and management styles I encounter. I enjoy learning new things every day.

In my view, in-house consulting is done with more passion, because you are driven by the sentiment of belonging to the company, rather than shifting companies all the time. Coupled with the larger size of the company, which offers exposure to a wide variety of topics and locations, in-house consulting allows you to learn about different business models and to experience various working cultures. Another advantage is the fact that you are around long enough to see your ideas implemented, and watch the impact that your ideas have created for the company -which is very rewarding. And on top of this you are able to build up a very strong network throughout the whole group.

I studied Business Administration in beautiful Münster, with an exchange at Turku School of Economics in Finland, for my bachelor’s degree. Subsequently I completed my master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Cologne with a major in corporate development, prior to joining DHL Consulting.
