The Corporate Department Internal Consulting sees itself as an independent consultant department that develops and implements solutions to strategic and operational challenges of the company.

With our methodological expertise, we design and successfully complete complex projects with a wide variety of topics. In addition, we bring innovative approaches into the company as part of our project work, such as Design Thinking, Ideation or Agile Methods. Our team consists of former employees of world-leading consulting companies and colleagues who look back on many years of experience at Boehringer Ingelheim and/or other large pharmaceutical companies. Internal Consulting attracts top internal and external talents and sees itself as development platform for future positions in our company.

We are interested in applicants with different educational profiles. In order to meet the project requirements of our internal business partners, we welcome not only natural scientists and business economists, but also medical doctors, psychologists or engineers and many others in our team. Excellent degrees, the capability to learn fast and quickly on-board into new topics as well as a high level of motivation and excitement to closely collaborate with colleagues are important to us. The discipline in which you obtained your Master’s or PhD degree is of secondary importance to us. As a rule, our consultants bring relevant professional experience from consulting or industry with them when they join us.
