BASF Inhouse Consulting is the internal management consultancy of the BASF Group, with offices in Ludwigshafen (Germany), Florham Park (USA), Sao Paulo (Brazil) as well as Hong Kong and Singapore. Established in 2001, our unit is one of the largest inhouse management consultancies in the industry, counting around 200 employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences. With our strategic expertise and advice, we develop the best solutions for our internal clients. Our international teams work with top management on projects that add value not only for BASF, but help our external customers achieve their goals as well.

Via three consulting streams – Management Consulting, Operational Excellence Consulting, and Supply Chain Consulting – we deliver comprehensive solutions for our clients across all of BASF. Our unique asset: an end-to-end perspective. Projects involving BASF Inhouse Consulting are complex and strategic in nature, which means they go way beyond PMO support.
The team advises BASF’s top management in the areas of strategy, commercial excellence, transformational change, operational excellence, as well as supply chain and structures and processes. Acquisitions and divestments are supported by professional project management during the implementation phase. Alongside classic consultancy services, BASF Inhouse Consulting also provides the business units with coaching in various areas.

We hire both young professionals and experienced management consultants. Ideally, applicants should have two years of practical experience in strategy consulting.
In addition to professional qualifications, we are looking for people who appreciate teamwork and are open to new ideas. You should be able to critically question routines and come up with unconventional, creative concepts. The following qualities are also important to us:
