About Us

The Volkswagen Group, headquartered in Wolfsburg, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of automobiles and commercial vehicles and the largest carmaker in Europe. With our brands, business units and financial services, we are shaping the zero-emission and autonomous future of mobility.

Intro to Volkswagen Group Consulting

As the in-house consulting of the Volkswagen Group, we advise the top management across the entire corporation. In doing so, we offer a decisive advantage compared to external consultancies: We are closer. We know the processes, the workflows, and the conditions. And we use this knowledge to develop targeted, company-oriented solutions for strategically important topics.

Why you should join us

  • We make the future possible: including yours

We advise the top management of the company and develop the leaders of tomorrow. Top talents are the foundation of our success. With us, you can shape the future of mobility in a decisive role. We offer projects where you can grow and strategically build your network. Individual development is important to us: this includes a constructive feedback culture and a variety of level-specific training sessions.

  • Working with us

Responsibility, fun, impact, variety, an ambitious and performance-oriented environment, development, work-life balance, or a great team – what is important to you in your job? The good news is that you don’t have to choose with us. Because we are convinced: You can only give your best at work if you also get everything. And that includes looking forward to Monday.

  • Exciting Tasks

As a consultant with us, you are among the thought leaders for new, sustainable mobility. Whether it’s autonomous driving, new battery technologies, or the development of innovative business models: with us, you don’t just look into the future, you actively shape it. We try to consider your project preferences in your career planning. But no matter which topics you want to delve deeper into: with our holistic approach and cross-project exchange, you always keep the big picture in view

  • Independence and Responsibility

With us, you are in direct contact with customers from the very first project. For you, this means close collaboration with the boards and top management of all Volkswagen Group brands worldwide and on-site assignments with clients. Here, your analytical mind and ability to communicate purposefully are especially important. In regular team check-ins, we discuss the status of projects, clarify open questions, and ensure maximum knowledge transfer

  • Flexible Working Hours

At the beginning of each project, team norms are established. All project participants have the opportunity to define their personal working hours. Do you have fixed times for sports, picking up your children, or caring for your parents? Are you an early riser or a night worker? We try to accommodate your individual needs in our project planning. Because even though we enjoy working and sometimes work a lot: life should still happen.

  • Team Spirit

We all have our unique strengths. And we all benefit from the strengths of others. That’s why everyone in our team is equally important, regardless of position or area of responsibility. We value experience just as much as new ideas because we know: we are only truly excellent when we come together. Always on equal footing and always with respect. We manage projects together, support each other, and make each other better. The result: a high level of quality that delights our customers and makes us happy. This strong togetherness sets us apart. And it’s fun – even after work.
