Portrait Paulina Sophie Guendel

Overall, my experience at TSC has further deepened my passion for consulting through its inspiring work environment and motivated me to pursue a Master’s in Management at the University of Cambridge.

My life before joining Telekom Strategy Consulting

Before joining Telekom Strategy Consulting (TSC) as an intern, I studied Psychology at the University of Mannheim, where I was captivated by applying psychological insights to the business world. Driven by this interest, I took part in the "Power of Four" gap year program, featuring internships at TSC, Bain & Company, FC Bayern, and P&G. This experience, particularly working on strategic consulting projects, fueled my passion for the field and created the perfect foundation for my time at TSC.

My motivation to join Telekom Strategy Consulting

My motivation to particularly pursue an internship at TSC was driven by two factors. Firstly, I was attracted to TSC's unique position as an in-house consultancy, enabling me to explore how internal consulting operates differently from external consulting. Thereby, TSC’s unique insights in the telecommunications industry, a sector with immense future potential, added to its appeal. Secondly, TSC’s strong reputation for having an inspiring and talented team was a significant draw, as I was eager to learn from and collaborate with such a dynamic group of professionals.

What I enjoy most at Telekom Strategy Consulting

What I enjoyed most working at TSC is the opportunity to focus on guding one of Germany´s most valuable companies through a long-term and sustainable transformation. This allows one to make a significant, lasting impact on Deutsche Telekom´s development - which is not the case in other consultancies. Further, collaborating with a diverse and skilled team also enriched my experience and provided me with the opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
