My life before joining Otto Group Inhouse Consulting

I joined Digital & Consulting right after completing my bachelor's and master's studies in Business Administration, first in Münster and then in Cologne. Working in a student consultancy alongside my studies provided me with first hands-on experience and sparked my interest in consulting. This led me to pursue several internships in both consulting and corporate environments. For example, I worked on strategy and innovation projects at Horváth and digital transformation initiatives at Deutsche Bahn before joining the Otto Group.

My motivation to join Otto Group Inhouse Consulting

There were two key drivers for me to join D&C. Firstly, I was eager to develop strategies on how to use digital solutions and technologies to create customer value. Providing consulting services to group companies at the interface between strategy development and digital transformation, D&C was the perfect fit right from the start. Secondly, working as an inhouse consultant within a large organization like the Otto Group was appealing as it offered the chance to explore various business models and work on diverse projects with varying companies and clients. This would not only allow me to build a broad network, but also to gain extensive e-commerce knowledge. 

What I enjoy most at Otto Group Inhouse Consulting

What is truly exceptional at D&C is the working culture and the people. Within a short time after joining D&C, many colleagues have become friends and we all enjoy our office days a lot. Not only do we share the same drive and ambition to deliver results, but also an appreciation for a healthy work-life balance that I have often found lacking at external consultancies. Moreover, I highly value  the close collaboration between consultants and techies at D&C. This synergy allows us to stay updated with the latest tech trends and offer consulting and tech solutions under one roof.
