For me, working in an in-house consultancy combines the best of both worlds – we have demanding, challenging projects and work with smart, motivated people, while still having a private life – even during the week!
My life before joining Otto Group Inhouse Consulting
My background is in business administration, having studied in Reutlingen and Reims. I then moved into external consulting, starting as a Fellow at McKinsey & Company, where I focused on consumer goods and retail companies.
My motivation to join Otto Group Inhouse Consulting
I found consulting very exciting, but I wanted to do it in a more sustainable environment that would also allow me to have a private life during the week. Coming from the Hamburg area, I was of course familiar with the Otto Group and their inhouse consultancy was very interesting for me.
What I enjoy most at Otto Group Inhouse Consulting
What I really like is the variety of topics. Thanks to the different business areas and the numerous subsidaries in the Otto Group, there are always new and exciting challenges. We are very close to the Executive Board and work on the most important topics, which is very motivating. We also have a great atmosphere in the department, leading to even more fun at work and also private activities together after work.
