Social added value is in harmony with personal development
My life before joining Bundeswehr Inhouse Consulting
I studied political science and international relations. Since I had already completed internships at the Foreign Office, the New Zealand Embassy and a working student position in the Bundestag administration, the prospect of getting to know public sector consulting seemed extremely appealing to me. This first impression was solidified after my three months as a junior fellow. After that, BwConsulting gave me the opportunity to stay as a working student until I completed my master's degree.
My motivation to join Bundeswehr Inhouse Consulting
In conjunction with the very good development prospects for students and young professionals, I would consider the focus on the common good to be an important aspect of my work at BwConsulting. As a political scientist, I find projects with the public sector and in particular with the Ministry of Defense simply more exciting and meaningful than projects with a purely private sector focus.
What I enjoy most at Bundeswehr Inhouse Consulting
For me, working on key social challenges, such as the operational readiness of the Bundeswehr against the backdrop of the "Zeitenwende" or the digitization of administration, combines social added value with personal development and interesting practical relevance. The fact that you then make this contribution in interdisciplinary teams in which colleagues from different disciplines contribute their expertise ultimately leads to an exciting day-to-day project.
