Senior Manager, BASF Management Consulting
Portrait Andrea Ulrich

Our unit is tasked with the most important projects at BASF. There is a strong culture of appreciation in our company, which is very important to me personally.

My life before joining BASF Inhouse Consulting

After completing my training in the banking sector and gaining a degree in business administration, I worked for a few years at a start-up company in the United States. I then entered the Mergers & Acquisitions area at a financial investment company. In my subsequent position in Corporate Development at a different company, I was actively involved in the development and internationalization of the company and gain a great deal of experience working on strategy and corporate M&A projects.

My motivation to join BASF Inhouse Consulting

I manage complex integration and carve-out projects and advise the business areas on all matters related to integration and divestment. BASF has very diverse business areas and highly varied products. In  our projects, we collaborate with very different business areas – and in some cases with several areas at the same time. Each project is different and poses its own very specific challenges. That makes my work absolutely fascinating.

What I enjoy most at BASF Inhouse Consulting

The topics we deal with are highly demanding and varied. In my day-to-day work, I can put my knowledge and experience to very good use. In addition, I have built up a large network at BASF. Of course, there is also a wide variety of opportunities for personal development in the course of projects or within the company.
