Intro to BASF Inhouse Consulting
Established in 2001, today our unit is one of the largest inhouse consultancies in the industry, counting more than 200 employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences. With our strategic expertise and advice, we develop the best solutions for our internal clients. Our international teams work with top management on projects that add value not only for BASF, but help our external customers achieve their goals as well.
You can find us in various locations around the world. Our headquarters are in Germany, specifically at BASF's Verbund site in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Our second office location In Germany is in Monheim near Cologne. In the US, our offices are in Florham Park, New Jersey. In South America, we operate mainly from Sao Paulo. And in Asia-Pacific, we are working from three office locations, which are located in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore.

Via three consulting streams – Management Consulting, Operational Excellence Consulting, and Supply Chain Consulting – we deliver comprehensive solutions for BASF across the globe. Our unique asset: an end-to-end perspective. Our projects are complex and strategic in nature, which means they go way beyond PMO support.

BASF Inhouse Consulting is different from so many consultancies because we are a cost center, not a profit center. We provide excellent consulting services to our internal clients, and cover our costs. Because we usually have more demand from our clients than we can satisfy, our consultants can concentrate on creating value through content, not selling.

Who you are
Experienced strategy consultants
You have 2+ years of professional experience in strategic consulting and project work, ideally in a (global) strategy consulting firm or unit.
If you want to join our Supply Chain Consulting unit, prior supply chain expertise is also required, ideally in supply chain planning and S&OP.
Students
You are a current student in the field of economics, economic psychology, or a related field of studies with excellent academic achievements and ideally first work experience in strategy consulting.
