Consultant, Nestlé Corporate Projects

My Job as Inhouse Consultant:

After graduating from university and completing an internship at Nestlé Inhouse Consulting, I decided to start my career as an Inhouse Consultant at Nestlé. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of strategic projects, in the areas of growth, profitability and organization.

My daily challenges:

The focus of our day-to-day work is largely related to topics for the executive board and executive level of individual business units within Nestlé. This ranges from the strategic reorientation of a business unit, through identifying possible optimization approaches, to the implementation of post-merger projects. Working at Nestlé Inhouse Consulting is very exciting, as no two days are the same. The biggest challenge I believe is to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues, get an overview of the situation and gather the relevant information. Additionally, you have to develop an innate ability to multitask and adopt a structured way of working to advance several topics at the same time.

Why I like to work as Inhouse Consultant:

What I enjoy the most about my work as an Inhouse Consultant is that we do not only develop conceptual and sustainable solutions but also have the opportunity to experience their implementation.
The mutual exchange with a diverse number of business units and functions allows me to develop an extensive knowledge and network that is enriching for me both personally and professionally.

What I like most about being an Inhouse Consultant:

My teammates and I are closely involved in strategically shaping the future of Nestlé. Through cross-functional teams and in collaboration with all divisions, we work on exciting and diverse projects in a very collaborative way. Additionally, the balance between projects in Germany and those in an international context is ideal for me.

My life before joining the Inhouse Consultancy:

Before I joined Nestlé, I studied business administration. During my studies, I gained a lot of practical experience ranging from startups to global players in the areas of telecommunications, retail, automotive, consumer goods and medical technology both in Germany and abroad. Working at Nestlé Inhouse Consulting sparked my passion for the consumer goods industry and helped me conclude my search for content diversity successfully.

What I like to do in my spare time:

For me, my spare time is a perfect mix of family, friends, recreation and action. I prefer to be in nature, be it on water or in the mountains. I take every opportunity to travel and to get to know this world a little better.
