Inhouse Consulting Project Manager – Marketing & Sales Strategies (m/f/d)

Are you interested in joining us as an Inhouse Consulting Project Manager (m/f/d) in Marketing & Sales (M&S) Strategies? Our M&S team supports in market research, segmenting and portfolio analysis and develops, optimizes, and implements strategies, as well as go-to-market strategies.

Starting date:

Flexible (each 1st of a month)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Be responsible for project management of consulting projects with international and cross-sectoral scope with a focus on top-line growth as well as commercial operations efficiency topics
  • Develop solutions for our clients together with our global team and knowledge management
  • Work in close collaboration with our clients in the life sciences
  • Promote lean and agile operations and increase operational efficiency
  • Be a role model for our younger consultants and develop their consulting skills on the job
  • Support Business Consulting internal activities such as recruiting, training and knowledge development

Who you are

  • An inspired and open-minded character with consulting spirit and a university degree (master) in economics or related field; a focus on marketing would be beneficial
  • Several years of professional experience in a management consultancy; professional experience in the field of marketing/sales is advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of common marketing tools and approaches, e.g., industry-specific pricing, sales force optimization, customer segmentation, digital marketing
  • Ideally work experience in Business-to-Business and/or Business-to-Consumer Marketing, e.g., operational or strategic expertise in sales, pricing, product launch, digital marketing
  • Preferably experience in life science or chemical industry and/or other relevant industries, e.g., FMCG, consumer products
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills as well as confident interaction with top management clients
  • Empathic communication style and the ability to drive implementations
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • International work experience and intercultural approach; willingness to travel at times (taking pandemic status into account)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; German or further languages are of advantage
