Managing Consultant, innogy Consulting GmbH
As a Managing Consultant at innogy Consulting, I am responsible for a number of strategy, restructuring and process optimisation projects that cover various innogy and RWE businesses from Essen to Budapest.
The benefits of inhouse consulting are that the knowledge acquired from a huge range of projects is kept within our own business and also that our internal consultants can offer reliable and responsible assistance to clients long after the projects have been completed. innogy Consulting also takes the involvement of internal staff very seriously. One focus of our work is collaborating on those competencies that are relevant for innogy’s and RWE’s future.
As an internal consultant I get to learn about all the businesses that form part of the innogy and RWE Group. It is so exciting seeing how the innogy and RWE principle is implemented and experienced in the different companies both here in Germany but also abroad.
As an internal consultant I am an integral part of the RWE Group which puts me in the best position to learn about the strategic direction, constantly changing market environment and the processes taking place within the Group. Through my varied and interesting project work, I get to play an active role in helping to shape the future direction of the Group.
My degree was in Business Studies and involved studying in both Germany and the UK. After various roles within the RWE Group, in 2002 I moved across to the company that would later become RWE Consulting and then innogy Consulting, helping to shape the inhouse consulting business that it is today. Through consistently pursuing our vision and goals and targeted recruitment over the past few years, we have created one of the top inhouse consultancies in Germany, something we are all immensely proud of.
