Rebeca Dauscha

Project Manager

My Job as Inhouse Consultant:

I have been working as a consultant in our office in São Paulo since January 2015. I am currently working on a wide range of different tasks and have therefore not yet undertaken any functional specialization.

My daily challenges:

The biggest challenge is familiarizing yourself with various subjects within a very short time. We therefore have to be very flexible. For example, I assisted with a project at Bayer Animal Health in the field of key account management for a month and then immediately moved on to the Bayer Consumer Care/Merck integration project. This diversity of subjects requires a high degree of personal commitment, but I see this as a great advantage. Since I am always learning something new, I’m also developing on a personal level. Another important challenge for me as a consultant is to be simultaneously pragmatic and efficient in performing the project work.

Why I like to work as Inhouse Consultant:

I wanted to work more closely with end customers and be better able to track projects. In addition, this makes it possible for me to focus on specific industries.

What I like most about being an Inhouse Consultant:

Our work within the Group is highly appreciated, and I can gain experience in industries that appeal to me. Furthermore, as an Inhouse Consultant I can look forward to a successful professional future at Bayer.

My life before joining the Inhouse Consultancy:

I studied Economics at the University of São Paulo (USP) and was an exchange student in Wiesbaden during the course of my studies. As a student I gained consulting experience with the USP Consulting Club. After graduating, I worked at Roland Berger for three years as an external consultant. There I was involved in projects in the automotive, chemical, energy and education sectors.

What I like to do in my spare time:

I do a lot of sport, mainly swimming and jogging, I plan my next private travel itineraries and I also love reading. And I brew my own beer.
